About

I am an artist. I love to cook and bake, read, swim, decorate and I have a passion to travel. I am continually learning and working on my family genealogy.

I live on the west coast of Canada and have a condo in Mexico were I often stay in the winter.

I have embraced technology like most  baby boomers.

Many people have been encouraging me to share my experience with improving my health and lifestyle, so here I am. I went from thinking my life was over because of illness to having a great life again filled with fun and passion.

I still have many problems with my health but have learned how to manage it. It takes extra effort to travel and more future planning but it can be done. Many boomers have great health, but many of us have illness or age related issues. I don’t have all the answers by any means, but I hope that I can pass on some of my tips.

I wanted my later years to be the best ever as many of you would like also. I am trying to create a lifestyle of freedom. I want to continue to travel and learn and be healthy. I needed to earn my living from anywhere in the world, so now I pack my bags to make money on the internet. Not with this blog but with my websites.

I hope with this blog baby boomers will have a place to exchange ideas and help each other attain that freedom so many of us are looking for. Please join in with your stories and comments. Have you secured your future, or could you use a little help from some friends.

Boomers challenged or not are finding each other to exchange ideas on the internet.

BTW: Younger people might enjoy some of the posts and get travel and health related ideas also. Looking after ourselves, our health and enjoying life are not restricted to the aging. LOL

      • Thanks, I am glad that you liked the information. You also mentioned having trouble loading this page. I am sorry as I know that can be frustrating. I am with WordPress.com so not sure why you had this problem. I don’t have ads on this site so there would be no effect there. Thanks for letting me know.
